As people are getting settled into another year, QBACC teams have been hard at work to create action against climate change.

Below we will examine upcoming events as well as different ways in which you can get involved.

As the upcoming federal election is a month away, young voters must registered so that their voices can be heard. This past week, thanks to our wonderful volunteers, we had a voter registration booth set up in the ARC registering people to vote. Our volunteers also gave people information on each of the candidate’s environmental policy. Our booth will be set up at least 5 days a week until voting day. With a new school year beginning QBACC is once again working to create action against climate change

In the past we have organized events involving garbage collection, workshops and many more. However, this year we are beginning to run a volunteer program to do more than ever before.

With this upcoming election young voters need to make sure that their voices and concerns are heard. This campaign is centered on ensuring that people are registered to vote in this upcoming federal election. We also provide people with the resources to see each parties platform and their environmental policy.
